Andrea del Verrocchio (Florence 1434 - Venice 1488)An Italian sculptor, painter and goldsmith, active mainly in the court of Lorenzo de Medici. In his studio students such as Leonardo da Vinci and Perugino were trained. His studio was multi-purpose with work in painting, sculpture, goldsmith and the decorative arts in order to satisfy the insistent demand for Florentine products coming from all Italy.
