Filippo Brunelleschi (Florence, 1377 - Florence, 1446)
Italian architect, engineer, sculptor, painter and scenographer of the Renaissance, all his architectural works are located in Florence, where he built both public and religious buildings commitioned by public and private institutions. Among his main works are the following: Santa Maria del Fiore Dome (the Cathedral of Florence), the Pazzi Chapel (in the Santa Croce Church) and the reconstruction of the Santo Spirito Church.
