Michelangelo di Lodovico Buonarroti Simoni (Caprese Michelangelo 1475 - Rome 1564)Italian artist and poet, he was one of the most important figures of the Renaissance. A genius who turned his work into a never-ending search for the ideal of beauty. Among his main works there are: the David (Accademia Gallery), the Pietà , the Bacchus, the Last Judgement.
