MASACCIO
Masaccio ( Castel San Giovanni 1401 - Rome 1428)An Italian painter, who started from Giotto’s volumetric innovations, which he adopted through Brunelleschi’s perspective and the plastic sculptures of Donatello to realize his realistic figures. Among his main works: the Madonna and Child , the Expulsion of Adam end Eve from the Garden of Eden, the Trinity (Santa Maria Novella Church).
